"Public prayer forces the peers of school children to jump on the band wagon and pray. We are all aware that the church is simply a business which employs tactics similar to that of tobacco industries in recruiting consumers. Get the kids while they are young and vulnerable so that they become donating members of the church when they reach adulthood." From EvilBible.com

The Funny thing about that is, if that's our goal-we are doing a pretty crappy job of it. In recent polls I have look into, we are now loosing more and more of the young adult attendee and they are unsure if they would ever return. Meaning we are not going to have those "recruits" for supply our supposed greed.

I wonder...

How many companies have food closets for the poor and needy?

How many companies welcome in a drug addict into their building and ask them if they

would like something warm to drink,

with a side of an eternity spent with God in Heaven?

How many

companies

are available 24-7 for counseling or to just talk if you need someone to lean on.

I wonder...

Maybe Exons, leaders would like to share their plan for the betterment of society?

Maybe,

Philip Morris would care to share what they plan on doing to stop the spread of cancer through their wonderful inve-

ntion the cigarette!

My guess is that as we look into companies all over the world and compare their philosophy or goal to which they base all their decisions

and then look at the churches philosophy or goal for their existence

you will find one glaring difference...

they are out to make money, the Church is out to change lives!

May we all fight and bicker now, & lose all sight of direction for which we came.

May God keep you strong for Him and His purposes. Isa. 40:30-31 - "Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
We have nothing to fear when we wait for the Lord!
